US Army Recruiting

Two tables with multiple interactive elements including a career navigation tool, pullup bar, swag giveaways and a Register-To-Win Nintendo Switch with the goal of connecting with HS students to outline Army Career Pathways in STEAM.

Poway Unified School District

Poway Unified will feature multiple K-12 programs throughout the day and have different programs at different time slots throughout the day. Likely that we will have varied topics represented including our CTE programs, Each group will have simple, brief interactive activities for children that follow event rules & guidelines. PUSD has not finished confirming list of participants and let Howard Chan know that we can do that at a later date with the event liaison in charge of that.

Music Notes has traveled the country hosting assemblies for over 250,000 students and their videos have gathered over 2,000,000 views online. Join Music Notes for a high-energy concert promoting a love and appreciation for all things STEAM related through original hip hop songs. LaMar "Mr. Q-U-E" Queen and David "Mr. D" Landix, two math teachers from Los Angeles, CA have written hundreds of educational rap songs and traveled across the country performing at schools and events. Their videos have been viewed over 2,000,000 times on Youtube and over 200,000 students have been in attendance at their shows.

Started by a group of middle school teachers in Los Angeles, Music Notes specializes in creating educational hip hop songs and videos for all ages. They have traveled the country performing for over 100,000 students and their Youtube channel has gathered nearly 2,000,000 views. Music Notes will hit the stage at the San Diego Festival of Science and Engineering ready to perform some of their most popular STEM songs, which will be sure to have audience members singing and dancing along.

Lights! Action! ABC 10News is the EXPO DAY TV Media sponsor and will be hosting our 10News Experience green screen where kids can try their hand as a reporter in a “live” studio.
